Once Upon A Time - History of wedding dresses - Part 1

Wedding dress is the main item of the dreams of great majority of women in the world. I everytime wonder it is white... Probably it is about that to be pure, clean and innocent. Also with the wedding dress, it is tried to improve that the future of couple will be "bright" as the dress of "bride".

Like every dress, wedding dresses also change due to fashion of the time, and also it changes according to cultures, geography and other national and locational properties. This time, I want to show the wedding dresses, probably worn 70 or 80 years ago. I found the pictures from a gallery of a newspaper. There was not the main source address of the photos. So I can not show a reference. There are too much photos. I think this series of photo go on 5 parts... Go on to watch "Comics and Pics blog". Best Wishes.

Colorizing techniques of 30s. Pink is heavy on photo. This pose is still same in most photos.

Open bridal veil, low-necked dress... This is similar to an advertisement more than a real photo of bride.

I care more about decoration than couple. Pink is heavy again.

An overall photo after ceremony. I think the dress of others are too similar to wedding dress. But only the bride has a veil.

Too retrospective for her time... Long long skirt.

I couldn't be sure if she is happy or not.

Curtain and wedding dress shows that this bride is asian or middle-eastern.

There are two couple in this photo. Dress of right bride is very nice. I really liked the long and widening skirt of her dress.

Too thin bride, too simple dress for wedding. I didn't like it.

Nice pose... Innocent and bashful.
